Midface lift without incision

This is Dr. Nakao from Nakao Plastic Surgery.

I would like to introduce the Midface lift without an incision.

The Deep Plane Facelift usually approaches the SMAS by making an incision in front of the ear but this time, the skin in front of the ear is approached without cutting.

There are various approaches without incision, in this case the incision is made behind the sideburns.

The advantage is that there will be no scar in front of the ear, which is beneficial for those who often work in the presence of other audiences.
The disadvantage is that the effect is a little milder than the Deep Plane Facelift.

In order to improve the effect, a method called "Hemostatic net" is used in combination with the Midface lift. This is a method of applying a net to the skin. This kind of image has been buzzing on social media.

Originally, this method was used to stop the bleeding, reducing or eliminating the need for postoperative drainage.
Recently, more and more facelift surgeons around the world are using this method. It is not a new method but it is being revived for its hemostatic effect, its ability to reattach the skin and improve the effect of the facelift.

In terms of improving the effect, there is a little trick to the ingenuity of the treatment inside the SMAS skin and the way the net is applied.
Relying solely on this technique will result in an unnatural facial expression.
